Dandelion pieces are made with dandelion stems chopped in tube beads. As dandelions contain natural latex (yes you know, this little "milk" you see dripping when you pluck one), stems are drying but never become brittle. If handled with care they can last forever. The material is 100% organic so the colors will slowly fade away from green and purple to yellow and brown, it's the natural disapearance of the chlorophyll and nothing can stop it.
As stated before dandelion contain natural latex, do not purchase if you have latex allergy!
